How to protect yourself from recruitment scams
Legitimate employers pay recruiters, not candidates. If someone asks you to "buy" a job, it's a scam.
Never send money via mobile money, Western Union, or bank transfer to someone you haven't met or verified.
Check for physical addresses, professional websites, email domains (not @gmail.com), and verifiable contact details.
Verbal promises mean nothing. Insist on written contracts, fee breakdowns, and clear terms.
Don't rely solely on a recruiter. Check official embassy websites for current requirements.
No one can guarantee visa approval. Anyone promising 100% success is lying.
If something feels wrong, report it. Contact Kenya Police, DCI, or relevant authorities.
Assistance package fees are refundable within 7 days if no services have been delivered. Government fees, medical costs, and translation costs paid to third parties are non-refundable. Visa denials do not qualify for refunds as we cannot control government decisions.
